We believe that the pieces you own should be pieces you absolutely love, and this is especially true of your bridal jewelry. At Zadok Jewelers, you’ll work with our expert staff and our in-house Master bench Jewelers to design your own engagement ring. Our custom process for designing wedding rings is easy and collaborative.

Step One:

Let’s Chat

During our first consultation, we will learn more about you, and discuss your timeline and budget. Bring any inspirational photos you may have (though none are necessary). You will also be provided with a complete diamond education (we can go as in-depth as you like) in order for you to understand the process of buying a diamond.

Please allow 8-10 weeks for custom engagement rings and custom wedding bands to be created. If you need it sooner, let our team know and we will do our best to rush your order.

Step Two:

The Center Stone

Once we’ve helped you build your own engagement ring and identify your center stone shape preference (or preferences), we work with our global network to secure the best stones available worldwide to maximize your budget while still achieving your desired look. To do this, we focus on the “C” that is most important to you. Since the stone is the biggest factor in the price of custom engagement rings, Houston’s leading jeweler will work tirelessly to obtain the best selection, often calling our diamond wholesalers to understand the specifics of certain stones beyond their GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certification.

Step Three:

Design and Approval

Our bridal experts will hand sketch or use computer-generated CAD 3D video to design and tweak your customized wedding ring. Upon request, we will create a wax mold which allows you to touch, feel, and wear your ring. Once you approve, your ring will come to life!

Step Four:

Your Dream Ring Comes to Life

The Zadok master bench jewelers will cast, set, and polish your customized wedding ring with the finest attention to detail. After passing inspection and quality testing, your dream ring awaits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I work with you if I don’t live in Houston?

Yes, the process of working with us remotely is the exact same as in store.  We utilize text, video and Zoom to work together if you are not local.  All of our rings are fully insured and ship anywhere in the world.

Can Zadok Jewelers help me if I have my own stone?

Of course, we do this all the time and are happy to help you turn a ring or diamond you already own into your dream ring.

How do I know I am getting a good price on my ring at Zadok Jewelers?

Our access to the global network of available diamonds allows us to view all inventory and compare specifications and prices.  We will often reach out to the seller to fully understand all of the variations that can occur with diamonds, even with GIA certification.  We pass on the savings directly to our customers.
