Please note that our quality control process is rigorous and a final check of the movement functions and key data over several days (as well as a visual inspection) are performed at the completion of each service. Your timepiece will only be returned to you after it passes our quality assurance standards.

Bring in Your Watch

No appointment is necessary. Bring your watch to our customer service center and they will discuss your concerns.  After they take in the watch, one of our master watchmakers will inspect the piece, make warranty notes and run diagnostics.  There are times when our in-house workshop feels the manufacturer should handle the service, and if so we will obtain all of the necessary information and facilitate sending it to the manufacturer. 

Receive an Estimate

We always keep the client’s best interest in mind.  Based on your concerns, we use the diagnostic findings of the watchmaker to create a scope of work and estimate 5-7 business days after you drop off the watch.  Customers can expect estimates in 1-3 business days for basic services. For items sent to the manufacturer for service, please contact watchrepairs@zadok.com for details on an estimate.

We’ll notify you as soon as your watch is ready! Below are the general services and repair times:

Battery Service

Need a watch battery placement in Houston? In addition to changing your battery, a battery service also includes testing the movements for power consumption, starting and stopping voltage, voltage to start EOL (if applicable) and cleaning of the case and bracelet as well as the exchange of the case back gasket.

WARRANTY
This service comes with a 1 year warranty. If any values are found to be outside of the manufacturing norm, we will recommend a full service and not a battery change. If the battery change has already been performed and you are still within the warranty period, the battery charge will be refunded or credited toward the service fee.

Maintenance Service

The water resistance is restored by removing the movement and disassembling the case for a full cleaning (and bracelet if applicable) and reassembling. If this is not possible, the complete crown will be replaced.

Refinishing Service

The refinishing service includes a complete refinishing of case and bracelet to at or near manufacturing standards. Scratches and dents will be removed, and surfaces will be polished to their original shine and satin surface. A maintenance service to restore water resistance will be performed as well.

Complete Service (Quartz Movement)

A complete service for a quartz movement includes the complete dismantling of the movement, we will check every component for wear and tear and replace every faulty part, control the electronic module or power consumption, frequency and other relevant operations required by the integrated circuit, assemble the movement, lubricate, control all functions including the electronic module in assembled state, case in the movement and restore water resistance.

This service comes with a 2 year warranty.

Complete Service (Mechanical Movement)

A complete service for a mechanical movement includes the complete dismantling of the movement, and we will check every part for wear and tear, replace any faulty part, remove corrosion, clean all parts, assemble the movement, control tolerances as per manufacturing specifications. We will lubricate the movement, control all functions and adjust timing and escapement for accuracy and restore water resistance and case in the movement.

Restoration Service (Mechanical Vintage Movement)

A complete restoration service includes all work in the complete service for mechanical movements. However, a restoration service is required if no parts are any longer available. Hence, parts will have to be made (technical drawings of the actual damaged part and manufacturing of parts involved, wheels and gears, levers, etc.) by hand or lathe / grinder / mill, instead of ordering and replacing the faulty part.

Is Zadok Jewelers able to perform Grand Seiko watch repair in houston?

Some battery changes and resizing are available in store. For more complicated repairs such as a full service or authorized part replacement, we can facilitate sending your timepiece to Grand Seiko even if you did not purchase the watch in our store.

Does Zadok Jewelers handle Omega watch repair in Houston?

Zadok Jewelers has seven certified watchmakers on site and we do have access to many authorized parts, so we are able to handle many Omega repairs on-site.  However, if we can’t complete the job in house, we can facilitate sending it out, even if you did not purchase your watch in our store.
