One of IWC's quirkiest collectibles from the 1990s. This Ingenieur — its design rooted in the Gérald Genta lineage — packs two complications rarely seen together: a chronograph and a mechanical alarm, the latter set via a dedicated second crown at 10 o'clock. Produced from roughly 1991 to 1996, it's powered by the IWC calibre 633, a "mecaquartz" movement based on a Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre that pairs quartz timekeeping accuracy with a mechanical chronograph module. The compact 34mm case comes in stainless steel with a yellow gold bezel on this -02 variant, framing a black dial with luminous Arabic numerals and date. Articulated lug bars help it sit comfortably despite the vintage proportions.
