The high-quality stainless steel bracelet turns the Portugieser Automatic 40 into an enormously versatile, sportier watch. The 40.4mm case is 12.3mm thick, with a see-through sapphire-glass back and convex sapphire glass on the front carrying antireflective coating on both sides. The silver-plated dial features small hacking seconds, and the movement uses IWC's signature Pellaton automatic winding system. Water resistance is 3 bar. Inside is IWC's manufactured Caliber 82200 (192 components, 31 jewels), decorated with Cotes de Geneve and perlage, running at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with an impressive 60-hour power reserve.
