The Portofino Automatic is available with a stainless steel case and blue dial in an unlimited version for the first time. The deep blue dial contrasts beautifully with gold-plated hands and appliques, and features a date display alongside central hacking seconds. The 40mm case is 9.2mm thick, closed with convex sapphire glass carrying antireflective coating on both sides, and paired with a hand-painted black alligator leather strap (20mm width, 18mm buckle width). Water resistance is 3 bar. Inside is IWC's automatic self-winding Caliber 35111, running at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with 25 jewels and a 50-hour power reserve. Priced at US$5,400 (VAT excluded).
