Ingenieur Tourbillon 41

With the new Ingenieur, IWC Schaffhausen revisits Gérald Genta’s bold and visionary design from the 1970s, combining it with enhanced ergonomics and an exceptionally high level of finishing. The Ingenieur Tourbillon 41 crowns this evolution with the undisputed “queen of complications”: the tourbillon. Limited to 100 pieces, the watch features a 41.6-millimetre case with an integrated bracelet made of 18-carat 5N gold. The bezel, crown guard and crown are also crafted from this precious metal and are satin-finished with polished edges. The five functional screws are made of 18-carat Armor Gold®, a material that offers significantly higher hardness values than conventional gold alloys. The structured dial with the characteristic “grid” pattern adds depth and texture to the watch, while the dark olive-green hue creates an elegant contrast with the gold.
