Ingenieur Automatic 35

The Ingenieur Automatic 35 is a faithful, more compact representation of the emblematic Ingenieur design in a 35.1mm case, revisiting the bold aesthetic codes of the Ingenieur SL Reference 1832 designed by Gerald Genta in the 1970s. The stainless steel case and integrated bracelet combine satin-finished and polished surfaces; the bezel is secured to the case ring with five functional screws, the bracelet's H-links are satin-finished with polished edges, and the centre links and case back are fully polished. The black dial carries the characteristic 'Grid' pattern with hand-mounted appliques filled with Super-LumiNova, plus central hacking seconds and a date display at 3 o'clock. Convex sapphire glass with antireflective coating on both sides protects the dial, secured against displacement by drops in air pressure; case height is 9.4mm and water resistance is 10 bar. The open case back reveals IWC's automatic Caliber 47110 (151 components, 23 jewels) with a 42-hour power reserve, decorated with circular graining, Geneva stripes, and a gold-plated oscillating weight.
