The substantial 46.2mm case (15.4mm thick) is fitted with a screwed-in crown and pairs with a blue calfskin strap (22mm width, 18mm buckle width). Complications include small hacking seconds, a power reserve display, and a full perpetual calendar with date, day, month, and four-digit year displays plus a perpetual moon phase shown for both northern and southern hemispheres. The convex sapphire glass carries antireflective coating on both sides and is secured against displacement by drops in air pressure; the rotor features an 18-carat gold medallion. Water resistance is 6 bar. IWC's manufactured automatic Caliber 52616 (379 components, 54 jewels) runs at 28,800 vph (4 Hz) with an exceptional 168-hour (7-day) power reserve.
