For seven generations, the Zadok family has been dedicated to fine jewelry and watchmaking—first as royal court jewelers in Asia, later as artisans in Israel, and now as a family-owned and operated premier destination for luxury jewelry and timepieces in Houston and Austin.

In 1976, Dror and Helene Zadok opened a small Houston jewelry shop with a simple yet enduring philosophy, “You’re only a stranger once.” Guided by an unwavering commitment to keeping the customer happy, sharing their passion for fine jewelry and timepieces and delivering the best craftsmanship, the business grew as delighted clients returned time and again.

Over the next 40 years, the original 1,200 square-foot salon developed into a showroom tenfold in size at the founding location. It was a lifelong dream of Dror’s to own his own property and to his amazement, that dream was realized with the founding of Post Oak Place at 1801 Post Oak Blvd. Zadok Jewelers is the anchor tenant with a 28,000 sq. ft. flagship bi-level store that was designed with the sole purpose of creating unforgettable experiences.

In 2021, we built a new two-level store just steps away from our original address, determined to remain among the premier selection of jewelry stores in Houston, Texas. Spanning 28,000 square feet, it is the anchor store of the beautiful new Post Oak Place at 1801 Post Oak Boulevard, a mixed-use development that was different from any other jewelry stores.

“Our goal was to eventually own our own property, to ensure that the future generations of our family would have a legacy, and opportunity to continue the business if they chose to,” Dror Zadok said. “Just like the day we first opened in 1976, we consider our new store to be an extension of our home by creating a warm and welcoming environment, where we can provide professional and personalized assistance to our customers,” said Helene Zadok.

Jonathan, Segev, and Gilad Zadok–all GIA Graduate Gemologists—now take the helm with expertise, passion, and a dedication to giving back to the community that has embraced the family and store for nearly 50 years.
