What's in Your Gold and Platinum Jewelry?

Not sure how many parts gold are in your item? Simply look for the small stamp and refer to the gold karat chart below. Platinum is usually stamped “PLAT” or “PT950 or PT900”. The value of your gold is proportional to its purity. In other words, 14 karat gold is worth 14/24 percent, or 58.5 percent, of the 24K price.

We buy diamonds starting at 0.50 carats and pay premiums for larger, select quality, GIA certified diamonds. If your diamond isn’t certified, don’t worry. Additional information that you can provide about your diamond will be beneficial, such as appraisals, receipts, and grading certificates from respected diamond & gem laboratories.

Please keep in mind that an insurance appraisal is written for the maximum market value for replacement in a retail market, so it does not reflect the secondary market value. If you don’t know much about your diamond, we have almost a dozen certified GIA diamond experts in-house who would be glad to evaluate your diamond and gemstone jewelry to determine a fair market value.

Official appraisals are also available for $115.

Value That Makes Sense

We offer a fair market price for gold, platinum, diamond and gemstone jewelry and for loose stones. The highest premiums are paid for designer and heirloom jewelry, fine watches, and certified loose stones.

Save The Tax!

You don’t have to buy from us for us to buy from you. However, if you prefer trade to cash, there is no sales tax (for Texas residents) on the amount of credit given for trade in. For example, if the item you want costs $1000.00 and the trade in is $800.00, then sales tax is charged only on the difference of $200.00.
